Electrical goods could last for years and some for life That is not the case these days. Why’s that I wonder. We seem to be a disposable society now

I bought a Sony telly in 2010 and it's still going strong only upraded this year with another Sony smart TV I always buy sony's

Mobile phones now have a life of approx 2 years . My mobile is 6 years old and still going strong But like I-spy says some items are not built to last .We have been in our bungalow 10 years and in that time we have changed our cooker fridge/freezer washer drier and the microwave and kettle and the telly Even the laptop only lasted about 3 years before it fell to pieces and I had to buy a new one
